# Endpoint availability

> Distinguish a documented contract from a verified live request.

The catalog is a set of documented contracts across 68 sources. Live use depends on the individual operation: its adapter, credentials, available quota, and source access must all be ready.

Initial verification covered representative requests for YouTube metadata, GitHub and Bluesky profiles, Hacker News search, and Google organic search through DataForSEO. That evidence applies to the tested operations, not every request listed under each source.

Readiness can change when a source credential, balance, or quota changes. A fallback is possible only where the operation has a compatible configured adapter. Verify current behavior with the request you intend to use rather than relying on a past activation note.

YouTube’s official adapter covers channel and video metadata, uploads, playlists and their items, thumbnails, batch lookups, trending videos, comments, and search. A returned cursor belongs to the same request route. Transcripts, Shorts-only filters, contact-email lookups, and AI labels are outside that adapter’s output and require a different supported route.

An operation that cannot run responds with `503`; it does not return an unrelated search or an invented record. During preview, inspect the actual payload and preserve source identifiers when implementing field handling.
