Define the measurement
Start with a specific question and a reproducible sample. Record the platform, account or keyword, collection time, and any filters so another run can be compared with the first.
Breakdown and interpretation
Keep original source identifiers alongside normalized fields. Missing values are not zero, a search result is not an exhaustive census, and a cached response may predate your collection time. Preserve these distinctions when you aggregate results.
How we compute this
Choose an endpoint in the API reference, check its required parameters, and test a small request. Store the request ID and cache metadata with each response. For analysis, define the denominator and time window before calculating rates or comparing accounts.

- Search and discovery endpoints for public content.
- Platform pages for endpoint-specific parameters and examples.
- Response schema docs for credits, caching, request IDs, and normalized data.
