Returns the current search terms displayed as popular searches by Gumtree UK’s anonymous homepage, using its national location (10000392). The live source currently returns about 30 strings. This operation accepts no query parameters and has no pagination. items preserves the source’s exact term order. That order is not claimed to rank popularity. The source does not publish search volume, growth rates, a measurement period or its update timestamp; those metrics are not invented. This is one bounded public window, not a complete query-demand dataset or locally personalized recommendations. A fresh nonempty response costs 1 credit. A source-confirmed empty list, cache hit, error or successful idempotent replay costs zero. Use X-Max-Credits: 1. A blocked, malformed or mismatched source never becomes empty success. Anonymous direct requests use an 8-second total timeout and a 64 KiB response limit. The existing Firecrawl account provides a basic-transport fallback with exact source-URL verification, original JSON bytes, one provider credit and a 35-second timeout. Both paths share a 20-source-request/minute ceiling. No Gumtree account or API key is required. The public source has no contractual availability guarantee.
