Search TikTok sounds by keyword with a two-letter region, ordering, and an optional title or creator filter. Each successful uncached request costs 1 credit and returns one source page of up to ten sounds. Pass next_cursor unchanged, with the same query and filters, to fetch the next page. The cursor is bound to this query; raw provider offsets and cursors from another search are rejected. since and until filter each retrieved page locally. Sounds without a source publication date are retained. Continue paging when a filtered page is empty but still has next_cursor. Date-only until includes that entire UTC day. total is the upstream total before local filtering. Music identifiers are strings to preserve TikTok’s 64-bit IDs. post.ext.video_count counts videos using the sound. Views, likes, and other unavailable engagement metrics remain null. post.content.media_urls contains a single audio preview URL when available; playback URLs may expire. Provider access tokens are never included.
