Returns the current public Kohl’s navigation taxonomy. This operation takes no query parameters. payload.categories preserves department order and nested categories. Every node has its source id, name, level and type. IDs are current content paths rather than legacy numeric category IDs. seoURL preserves the source link; url resolves it to the Kohl’s website. Header-only groups have null URLs. Promotional destinations and query strings are retained. root_count counts top-level departments; node_count includes every descendant. The source can change its seasonal taxonomy. Navigation entries do not establish product counts, availability or the complete merchandise catalog. Each fresh request uses one basic Firecrawl fetch of the exact anonymous navigation JSON published by Kohl’s. Duplicate or inconsistent IDs, hierarchy drift and unexpected link destinations fail validation. Cached responses and successful idempotent replays are free.
