Dates and source order are validated; duplicate rows across source pages are removed. The source walk is bounded to 500 rows and 45 seconds. An incomplete walk returns HISTORY_WINDOW_EXCEEDED rather than a partial success. Unknown/private history and nonexistent-account behavior are not verified. Reddit score remains ext.score; likes, reply counts and author avatars are unknown. parent_id preserves t1_ reply parents and t3_ top-level parents. No public cursor is returned. For example, limit=25 holds 50 credits. If 7 comments match the date window, the final charge is 14 credits and 36 are released. Send X-Max-Credits: 50 to enforce that maximum hold on the server. The initial provider verification allowance is finite; there is no automatic refill. This endpoint is in preview while full catalog coverage is being verified.
