This endpoint takes no query parameters. It returns Target’s top navigation taxonomy in source order: id, name, parent_id, type, canonical url and navigation image for every node. The source includes ordinary categories and seasonal or promotional tags. The adapter reads the public all-categories page’s structured global navigation data and validates its page identity and URLs. It retains parent IDs exactly. A parent may lie outside this navigation window; the response is not a complete nested tree and does not imply product inventory or successful category-product retrieval. returned_count and total count the current navigation records. Invalid, empty or mismatched source data fails without a net charge. Each fresh request costs 1 SocialQuery credit and uses one basic Firecrawl request within its configured allowance. Cache hits and successful idempotent replays are free.
